Welcome to our Second Season
Timepoint has put together a season that explores the vast potential of aesthetic presented by new music. Highlights to me include our Escape Room Interactive Music Installation project, the Canadian indigenous composer concert, the chance to program major works by both Gerard Grisey and Vinko Globokar, a night of timberal experimentation at Classical Revolution, and our project collaborative project with Diatessaron.
To me the 2015/2016 season was about the coming together of minds and personalities, then just seeing what happened. What happened was a tremendous surge of creativity and energy. To have the opportunity to curate concerts for an ensemble with so much positive energy was a privilege. Moving forward into the 2016/2017 season that energy has continued to grow and I feel we have created a season that builds on the momentum of this past year.
