Mathew James - Artistic Director

Mathew holds advanced degrees from DePaul University in Chicago, and a Bachelors of music from the University of Calgary. An active performer of new music and rising authority on electronic music for horn. He has penned articles in the International Horn Societies journal in regards to the performance of modern works with electronics. In the summer of 2016 Mathew was an invited performer in the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival. With 9 world premieres, and countless Canadian and American premieres Mathew remains in constant pursuit of new musical, and cultural possibilities.

Andrew Morrow - Director of Operations

Born and raised in Southern Alberta, Morrow holds degrees from both the University of Lethbridge and the University of Calgary. Although his passion lies with contemporary music, Morrow is a very versatile clarinetist and can be found everywhere from the concert hall to the stage at the local bar jamming with a country band. As Director of Operations Morrow handles a lot of the everyday details involved with running Timepoint.

Holly De Caigny - Development and Brand Director

Holly’s passion for exploring new music and new modes of playing have propelled her to work with numerous different ensembles, to study in Paris, France with one of the leading contemporary saxophonists in the world, and now to pursue Doctoral studies at the University of Alberta. Her involvement with Timepoint also stems from this love of exploration of sounds. Holly is currently on the Timepoint board as branding director, and enjoys the challenges and discoveries this first board membership have given her.
